Loss of genetic variation in the two-locus multiallelic haploid model

Abstract: In the evolutionary biology literature, it is generally assumed that in deterministic haploid selection models, in the absence of variation-generating mechanisms such as mutation, no polymorphic equilibrium can be stable.
