“…Another study by Martetschlager et al 5 reported a 23% rate of loss of reduction and 27% rate of complications after fixation or tendon grafting of the coracoclavicular ligaments. More recently, Choi et al 6 also showed high rates of loss of reduction (47%) and complications (20%) after autogenous tendon grafting and demonstrated that complications were associated with poor outcomes in their patients. The overall complication rate in this systematic review is only 6%, which is quite low, compared with 20% to 44% in other studies.…”
