Abstract:INTRODUCTIONThe microglial receptor triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) is a major risk factor for Alzheimer's disease (AD). Experimentally, Trem2 deficiency affects parenchymal amyloid beta (Aβ) deposition.
