Low‐cost quad‐band dual antipodal Vivaldi antenna using microstrip to CPS transition

Abstract: In this article, a new topology of antenna for multi‐band application is proposed, designed, and characterized. This one is based on an array of two antipodal Vivaldi antennas diametrically placed and fed through a microstrip to coplanar strip (CPS) transition, which generates an odd‐order coupling at the input of the elements.
