Low-density lipoprotein receptor gene transfer in hypercholesterolemic mice improves cardiac function after myocardial infarction

Abstract: Left ventricular (LV) function post-myocardial infarction (MI) is adversely influenced by hypercholesterolemia independent of the severity of coronary atherosclerosis.
