[44] The successful treatment of LPP patients with excimer laser therapy along with anecdotal clinical success in FFA patients suggests a potential role for excimer laser therapy use in the initial phase of FFA to dampen the inflammatory effects of the disease. In our clinical experience excimer laser is very useful in reducing inflammation and peripilar casts in patients with active disease.…”
