Abstract:The Fock–Tani formalism is a first‐principles method to obtain effective interactions from microscopic Hamiltonians. Originally derived for meson–meson or baryon–baryon scattering, we present in this paper a brief introduction to the Fock–Tani formalism and formulate the meson–baryon potential, with the scattering and annihilation parts explicitly taken into account, and the corresponding diagrams. Finally, we present the differential and total cross‐section calculations that will be used, in the near future, … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
