Abstract: BACKGROUND Low-grade myofibroblastic sarcoma (LGMS) is an extremely rare tumor characterized by the malignant proliferation of myofibroblasts. LGMS most commonly develops in adults, predominantly in males, in the head and neck region, oral cavity, especially on the tongue, mandible, and larynx.
