In this context, it is worth noting that C 4 H was detected in discharges in acetylene diluted in Ar or Ne, despite the fast reaction between C 4 H and C 2 H 2 [25], and the abundance ratio ½C 4 H=½C 4 H À was about 12 in an extended negative glow discharge [14] and about 7 in a glow discharge [6]. However, although C 4 H was observed in these discharges, the abundance ratios were much smaller compared with that for the ratio ½C 3 N=½C 3 N À $ 50 in the discharge in HC 3 N [15].…”
