Low-temperature Synthesis of a-Fe2O3/MWCNTs as Photocatalyst for Degradation of Organic Pollutants

Abstract: The nanoparticles of a-Fe 2 O 3 /multi wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were successfully fabricated using photolysis and sonication method as a heterogeneous catalyst for photodegradation of 4-chlorophenol. The XRD and SEM were confirmed the supporting and distribution of the MWCNTs between the surface of a-Fe 2 O 3 while, preparing nanoparticles proved also using XRD and SEM.
