“…Magnesium titanate (MgTiO 3 ) is a well-known microwave dielectric ceramic material with wide applications such as in capacitors, resonators, filters, antennas for communication, radar, direct broadcasting satellite and global positioning system operating at microwave frequencies [1][2][3][4]. In order to control the combined dielectric properties of a high dielectric constant, a low dielectric loss and a near zero temperature coefficient of resonant frequency, it is necessary to produce MgTiO 3 powders with the highest possible purity, well-defined particle morphology, and small particle size distribution.…”

“…Therefore, much attention has been focused on the synthesis of MgTiO 3 . Various synthesis methods were reported in the past decade, such as solid-state reaction method [4][5][6], thermal decomposition of peroxide precursors [7], chemical coprecipitation [8], mechanochemical complexation route [9], metalorganic chemical vapor deposition [10], metalorganic solution deposition technique [11] and sol-gel method [2,12,13]. Though these methods were effective to prepare MgTiO 3 powders, almost no efforts were made to synthesize MgTiO 3 nanomaterials for its possible morphologydependent properties.…”

“…It is known that poly-ethylene glycol (PEG, chemistry formula C 2 H 4 O.nH 2 O) is a template which can be used to control particle size [6] and may favour purity product. In this work we report the synthesis of MT by introducing PEG-1000 as a template.…”
