“…Since its inclusion in the germplasm bank of the State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro (UENF), the UENF-14 popcorn population has been subject to a series of recurrent intrapopulational selection cycles targeting the improvement of economically important traits and the maintenance of the population variability.
