Abstract:Megophrys longipes maosonensis, described from Mao Son, Vietnam is long considered to be a junior synonym of Megophrys major species complex. However, recently, it has been resurrected from its synonymy into a valid species, with its distribution restricted to Vietnam and the adjacent areas of China.
