Abstract:Martorell hypertensive ischemic leg ulcers (HYTILU) are a rare lower extremity wound which exclusively occurs in patients with long-standing hypertension. Its pathophysiology is due to local skin infarctions caused by arteriolosclerosis of the dermis and subcutis.
