<title>Close-Range Photogrammetry In Predicting Animal Weight</title>

Abstract: The use of photogrammetry to determine dimensional and volume data of animals from a remote distance is investigated.The animal tranquilization process requires a precise knowledge of the weight of the animal for adjusting the appropriate dosage of medication. Practical experimentation using graphical and analogical processing methods proves that close -range photogrammetry is the best tool for the determination of the correlation between dimensional and volume data and weight of the animal.
