<title>Investigation of "green problem" in a LDA-pumped, intracavity-frequency-doubled Nd: YVO<formula><inf><roman>4</roman></inf></formula> laser</title>

Abstract

Lowfrequency amplitude instabilities , called " green problem" , were observed in a laser diode array (LDA) pumped, intracavity-frequency-doubled Nd : YVO4 laser under certain experimental conditions. The results of an experimental and theoretical investigation of these instabilities are described ,and the theoretical analysis agrees fairly well with the experimental observations.
