<title>Single-spin magnetic resonance on optical unstable single molecules</title>

Abstract: Electron spin resonance (ODMR) experiments via fluorescence excitation spectroscopy on single pentacence molecules in p-terphenyl crystals provide information on spectral jump and temperature dependent dephasing processes. It turns out that ODMR transitions in the excited triplet and optical transitions in the excited singlet state are decoupled from each other in a way that different mechanisms determine the respective spectral behaviour.
