Lung tumor induction in Syrian hamsters with internally deposited particulate Pu: A synthesis based on microscopic dose distribution

Abstract: Syrian hamsters inhaled a monodisperse aerosol of 238PuO2 and were serially sacrificed to study the microscopic distribution of particles, tissue at risk and dose as a function of time after exposure.
