Abstract:The cutaneous lymphatic system regulates tissue inflammation, fluid balance and immunological responses. Lymphangiogenesis or lymphatic dysfunction may lead to lymphedema, immune deficiency, chronic inflammation etc. Tissue regeneration and healing depend on angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis during wound healing.
