“…Entre estas nomenclaturas adotamos o termo linfangioma cérvico facial, uma vez que estudamos qualquer tipo de linfangioma que estiver contido na região da cabeça e pescoço. Quanto à classificação dos LCFs, Serres 2 sugere dividi-los topograficamente em supra hióideos e infra-hióideos, outros estudos [3][4][5][6] preferem classificar os LCFs quanto ao tamanho dos vasos linfáticos em microcísticos e macrocísticos, quando predomina a quantidade de vasos linfáticos menores e maiores que dois centímetros, respectivamente, e misto onde não é possível determinar qual tipo de cisto que predomina. Quanto ao tamanho do vaso linfático, preferimos adotar a nomenclatura de macro/microcisto e misto, pois consideramos a maneira mais simples e confiável.…”
