“…We cannot judge whether this occurrence is higher than expected since there have been no systematic studies of the prevalence of these changes in the endometrium. For example, Thomas (1986) reported a case of immunoreaction associated with C. trachomatis which was later reclassified as C. endometritis, but Young (1985) reported 16 cases (including non‐endometrial cases) of which four were classified as malignant lymphoma.…”
