Abstract: Background: Strengthening exercises on the quadriceps muscles can improve the physical function of people with knee OA (KOA). Lowintensity resistance training (LI-RT) with Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) increases muscle strength, equivalent to high-intensity resistance training (HI-RT).
