Abstract:Combining the excellent thermal and electrical properties of Cu with the high abrasion resistance and thermal stability of W, Cu-W nanoparticle-reinforced metal matrix composites and nano-multilayers are finding applications as brazing fillers and shielding material for plasma and radiation.
