Abstract:The present study was aimed to assess the type and prevalence of gross and microscopic lesions in ovaries of buffaloes obtained from abattoir. The prevalence of abnormalities of uterus were highest (17.02%; 181 samples) followed by ovaries (7.98%; 85 samples) among ten different types of anatomic abnormalities with overall prevalence of 29.83% (317/1062).
