Abstract:Introduction: To compare the retinal and choroidal architecture and microvasculature between patients with mild or moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI) and controls with normal cognition using optical coherence tomography (OCT) and OCT angiography (OCTA). Methods: Patients with a documented history of TBI, and age-matched and sex-matched controls were recruited. The primary outcome measures were differences between OCT parameters, including the choroidal vascularity index, and between OCTA superficial capilla… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
