Magnetic and dielectric properties of chain cuprate Li

Abstract: Abstractauthoren We propose a microscopic model in order to study the multiferroic properties of Li2ZrCuO4 at low temperatures taking into account the competing nearest and next‐nearest magnetic interactions, frustration, and a linear magnetoelectric coupling. To understand the experimental observation an anti‐ferroelectric interaction between the CuO2 chains is included.
