Abstract:a b s t r a c tTwo-dimensional solutions of the electric current, magnetic field and magneto elastic stress are presented for a magnetic material of a thin infinite plate containing an elliptical hole with an edge crack under uniform electric current. Using a rational mapping function, the each solution is obtained as a closed form. The linear constitutive equation is used for the magnetic field and the stress analyses. According to the electro-magneto theory, only Maxwell stress is caused as a body force in a… Show more

The magnetic field H ð2Þ z is constant in the entire plate (see (18)) and is different from that of the electric current (Hasebe, 2010a).…”

“…The stress analysis is carried out in section 7. This shear deflection does not arise in a plate under uniform electric current in the previous paper (Hasebe, 2010a). It is necessary to state that the out of plate bending due to the bending moment is not caused by Maxwell stress shown in Fig.…”

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
