Abstract:Magnetic field mapping is the production of maps or images of magnetic fields in space. Magnetic field maps are needed for designing and optimizing of magnets used in particle accelerators, spectrometers (mass, nuclear magnetic resonance, and electron paramagnetic resonance), and magnetic resonance imaging systems. Magnetic field maps are also used in geologic exploration where the variations in the magnitude and direction of the earth's magnetic field are indicative of subsurface features and objects. Field m… Show more
In particle accelerators, "field markers" provide a digital trigger when the magnetic field crosses a given threshold. In this paper, the metrological characterization of a magnetic field marker, based on a ferrimagnetic resonance transducer

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
