Abstract:Thin films containing the Mn,Ge, intermetallic compound were obtained by a vacuum evaporation technique. The samples were divided into two groups. Films containing u p t o 60% Mn,Ge, belong to the first, those containing about 1 0 0~o belong to the second group. The temperature dependence of magnetization has been measured, and appeared to be similar t o those of bulk material, except for a small decrease in the Curie point. The perpendicular-to-surface anisotropy has been measured for group-I films. Its const… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
