Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Acute Hepatic Encephalopathy

Abstract: AIMS AND OBJECTIVESTo study the pattern of brain involvement in acute hepatic encephalopathy in patients with chronic liver disease and correlate the extent of involvement on magnetic resonance imaging with serum ammonia and clinical severity.
