Abstract: The prognosis of patients with initially metastatic ES is very poor. Significant risk factors for death include affectation at combined local and distant sites and soft tissue involvement. For the diagnosis, an initial radiographic and/or computed tomography (CT) is performed. Both techniques are outstanding in evaluating the affected bones.
