“…Three types of magneto-plasmonic materials have been reported as follows; (1) all metallic tri-layer or multilayer films of a noble metal/a magnetic metal/a noble metal, such as Au/Co/Au, 1,4,5) Ag/Co/Ag, 2,18) Au/Fe/Au, 3,7) Ag/CoFeAlSi/Ag films 14) and so on, (2) a magnetic ceramic/a noble metal bilayer film, such as Au/MFe 2 O 4 (M=Zn, Ni, Co) 10,12,13) and Ag/Bi 3 Fe 5 O 12 films, 17) and (3) single layer films with binary non-solid-solution metals, [25][26][27][28] such as Ag-Co, 9,11,16) Ag-Fe, 11) and Ag-Ni films. 15) The excitation condition of the SPPs is strongly related to the thicknesses of whole and each metallic layers, so it is difficult to control magnetic and plasmonic properties independently in all metallic tri-layer or multilayer films.…”
