Magneto-transport in a quantum network: evidence of a mesoscopic switch

Abstract: We investigate magneto-transport properties of a θ shaped three-arm mesoscopic ring where the upper and lower sub-rings are threaded by Aharonov-Bohm fluxes φ1 and φ2, respectively, within a non-interacting electron picture. A discrete lattice model is used to describe the quantum network in which two outer arms are subjected to binary alloy lattices while the middle arm contains identical atomic sites. It is observed that the presence of the middle arm provides localized states within the band of extended reg… Show more

“…This shows that Bianchi type II spacetime (2) does not allow the pressures of the DE fluid to be different along x and y directions as long as the shear stress of the overall EMT is null (i.e., as long as T 2 3 = 0, which gives G 2 3 = 0 (10)). This is a result similar to the one discussed in a recent paper [60] by Saha. Hence, although the metric we consider is totally anisotropic, the anisotropy of the DE is constrained to be axially symmetric, as long as the overall EMT possesses zero shear stress.…”

“…Especially after the detection and further experimental reconfirmation of current cosmic acceleration [23,24] the spinor field was considered as an alternative model for dark energy in a number of papers [9-11, 13, 22]. Moreover, it was established that beside describing the different stages of the evolution of the Universe, spinor field can simulate perfect fluid and dark energy [25][26][27][28][29].…”
