Abstract:During routine endodontic therapy, a clinician may encounter many procedural errors which alter the course and outcome of the treatment. Instrument separation is one of the most common types of procedural error, resulting in metallic obstruction in the canal and impeding efficient cleaning and shaping of the root canal.
