Abstract:Background: Sickle cell disease (SCD) is one of the most prevalent genetic disorders, including major SCD and SC Trait (SCT) genotypes. Many studies have shown a negative association between major SCD and pregnancy. However, they are underestimated in Cote d’Ivoire statistics.
