Making humanoid robots teaching assistants by using natural language processing (NLP) cloud-based services

Abstract: Humanoid robots have a substantial potential to serve as teaching and social assistants. However, the expectations of the children from robots to interact like humans are huge. This study presents a general model for understanding the natural language in human-robot interaction by applying Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) language models as a service in the Internet of Things. Thus, the physical presence of the robot can help in fine-tuning the GPT model by prompts derived from the environmental contex… Show more

“…Lower temperature values result in more predictable and consistent text, whereas higher values introduce more variability and creativity, albeit with potentially less consistency. [43][44][45][46] Therefore, it would be consider to repeat the current study using different "temperatures" in AI systems. [44] The date of output of responses from chatbots is indicated, but responses may change over time due to version changes and updates to chatbots.…”

“…With the boom in computer technology, software testing has become an important way of ensuring software quality in the software industry, throughout the software maintenance and development cycle [1][2]. Software errors can occur in a variety of places, and the main method of locating errors based on program slicing is to analyse the program's data flow and control flow to decompose the program to be tested and identify statements related to a subset of the program's behaviour, thus narrowing down the scope of statement checking [3].…”
