Abstract: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan memahami makna perubahan identitas desa adat di tengah pembangunan pariwisata budaya di Bali. Pengembangan pariwisata budaya di Bali sangat berpengaruh terhadap kedudukan desa adat, mengingat tujuan pariwisata budaya sebagai daya tarik untuk mempromosikan Bali melalui kekayaan budaya, justru berbanding terbalik menjadi budaya Bali untuk pariwisata.
