Abstract: Objective. To investigate the effect of male hyperuricemia on reproductive outcome of in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET). Methods. Clinical data of 412 couples who underwent their first cycle of IVF-ET were analyzed. According to the serum uric acid (SUA) level of the male, they were divided into control group (SUA ≤ 416 μmol/L) and hyperuricemia group (SUA > 416 μmol/L).
