Malignant gastrointestinal neuroectodermal tumor (GNET) is an extremely rare primary malignant mesenchymal tumor of the gastrointestinal tract characterized by EWSR1 gene rearrangement. An optimal systemic treatment strategy for advanced/recurrent GNET has not yet been identified.
