Management of blunt hepatic trauma

Abstract: Management of blunt liver trauma has progressed over the last 20 years with the adoption of conservative non-operative management (CM) as the gold standard in 80-90% of patients. Clinical and hemodynamic changes, and CT imaging guide the conservative attitude or pose an indication for urgent surgical intervention in unstable patients.
