The article studies the conceptual substantiation of prioritisation of socio-economic security in the system of strategic business management. It is determined that the economic security of an enterprise remains a controversial concept with a complex nature, mainly focused on the financial and economic aspects of implementation. At the same time, the article proves the growing importance of the social context, formed around the human-centred management paradigm. The current key security risks of an enterprise, which include both external and internal threats, are substantiated. It is proved that in addition to the analysis of economic, financial, competitive, market and technological indicators, it is also important to assess the economic behaviour of employees, their preferences, and values, as well as the quality of the working environment, the availability of opportunities for development, including correction regarding the formation of economically secure behaviour of individuals. The author describes the areas considered to be objects of economic security of an enterprise, as well as the system of subjects of its provision, including within the framework of strategic development. In addition, the author substantiates the growing role of the business sector in the system of ensuring economic security of individuals and categorises the impact of social determinants of socio-economic security on the economic behaviour of an individual. A human-centred framework for managing the economic security of enterprise is formulated, the application of which allows determining the directions of shifting the priorities of strategic business management, adjusting the basic processes and the economic ability of enterprise to achieve coordination of expectations, needs, experience with the desired results. Additionally, the list of tools to ensure the priority of socio-economic security in the strategic management system is substantiated, and the phases of the life cycle of strategic management of enterprise with the priority of socio-economic security are delineated.
