Management of Hepatitis C in Children and Adolescents

Abstract: The management of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infections has changed dramatically in recent years with the use of direct antiviral agents (AADs). New AADs have excellent safety profile and demonstrated to be highly effective. Interferon free regimens are now recommended for children and adolescents but significant barriers for treatment exist.
