Management of internal and external root resorption in primary teeth of a 3‐year‐old with myelomeningocele: A case report

Abstract: Background: Myelomeningocele (MMC) is a severe manifestation of spina bifida. Children with MMC have motor disability, hydrocephalus, skeletal abnormalities, and mental retardation. These individuals are more susceptible to caries due to poor oral hygiene, carbohydrate-rich diet, prolonged use of sugarcontaining medications and limited motor abilities.
