Abstract: BACKGROUND: Tuberculosis (TB) is a leading infectious disease worldwide. It rarely occurs in the scapula and toe joints and is easily misdiagnosed. Without prompt treatment, the associated lesions can spread to surrounding soft tissues such as joint capsules, muscles, tendons, and fascia.
