Background: Rhinosporidiosis (RS) is a chronic granulomatous infection that primarily impacts the mucous membranes of the nose and nasopharynx. The diagnosis of RS is usually done by the clinical presentations and confirmed by histopathological study. The diagnosis of RS may be delayed when the extra-nasal sites are involved. Wide and complete excision of the lesion by thorough electro-cautery is usually recommended. Case Report: A 25-year-old male patient attended the outpatient department of otorhinolaryngology with a chief complaint of swallowing difficulty and sensation of foreign body in the oral cavity and oropharynx for 3 months. Conclusion: Rhinosporidiosis (RS) is an enigmatic disorder with a debatable mode of infection and the nature of the etiological agent. Atypical and extra-nasal cases of RS should be carefully diagnosed, managed, and monitored throughout their clinical course.
