Abstract:Stable angina is a common but significant condition. Coronary artery disease is the most common cause of this disease. As well as symptom management, there is significant potential for secondary prevention of cardiovascular events in all patients with angina. This article gives a structured, evidence-based framework for managing stable angina and the risk factors for coronary artery disease in the primary care setting.
