Management of the risk of thromboembolic complications in oncology

Abstract: Oncological disease is a hypercoagulable state with an associated increased risk of venous thromboembolism and is associated with high rates of recurrence and mortality. For those reasons, the prevention of cancer-associated thrombosis is of paramount importance.
