Abstract: Background: Preschoolers frequently have respiratory infections (RIs) that, in turn, may cause wheezing in some subjects. Type 2 polarization may favor increased susceptibility to RIs and associated wheezing. Non-pharmacological remedies are garnering increasing interest as possible add-on therapies.
