“…Verticillium dahliae is a soil-borne plant pathogen that exists worldwide and causes vascular wilts in more than 38 families of plants including 660 species, ranging from herbaceous annuals to woody perennials, such as Gossypium spp., Lycopersicon esculentum , Solanum tuberosum , Fragaria × ananassa , Canarium album , Chaenomeles japonica , and Ulmus pumila ( Giovanni et al, 2019 ; Hanson and Radionenko, 2021 ; Van Eerd et al, 2021 ; Zhang G. L. et al, 2021 ; Godena et al, 2022 ).
