Managing tourism knowledge: a review

Abstract: Purpose -This paper provides a contemporary review of the field of tourism and knowledge management.Approach -The review draws upon an extensive range of generic knowledge management literature as well as the rather less developed literature on tourism and knowledge management.Findings -The review finds that tourism has been slow to adopt a knowledge management approach, partly due to the context of the tourism sector.
